Vietnam Feed Team Hosts GAA Seminars in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi
On 22 September in Ho Chi Minh City and 24 September in Hanoi, our Vietnam Feed Team successfully organised two customer seminars focusing on the quality, safety, and application of guanidinoacetic acid (GAA).

The seminars featured a keynote presentation by Dr. Yang Libin, Chairman of Gendone, who shared important research findings:
• Market-available GAA products were found to contain excessive levels of harmful impurities such as cyanamide, dicyandiamide, melamine, and dioxins. These can depress feed intake, reduce growth rates, damage animal health, and pose risks to food safety.
• Gendone’s QC team and the Poultry Nutrition & Feed Innovation Team of the Feed Research Institute (CAAS) demonstrated how such impurities affect chick hatchability and growth, giving stakeholders a clear reference point for evaluating product quality.
• Trials comparing compound feed, concentrates, and premixes revealed significant differences in mixing uniformity and dusting loss rates, highlighting the importance of quality formulation control.

In addition to quality and safety, the seminars also showcased Gendone’s latest innovations:
• Yiben™ and Zhuangmeijian®, two newly launched composite solutions that maximise the value of high-purity GAA, helping farmers improve feed utilisation efficiency and reduce costs.
Both events attracted a strong turnout of customers and industry stakeholders, with lively discussions on practical applications and opportunities to strengthen cooperation in advancing feed technologies in Vietnam.

A big thank you to our Vietnam Feed Team for their outstanding effort in executing these back-to-back seminars in two cities. This initiative not only reinforced our commitment to food safety and animal nutrition but also positioned Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients and Gendone as trusted partners driving innovation and value creation in the regional feed industry.
