Not one, not two, but three! Celebrating 75 Years with Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients
Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients recently celebrated three exceptional team members reaching their 25-year milestone with a memorable event in Malaysia, bringing together colleagues from Singapore and Malaysia, long-standing veterans, and special guests to honour their remarkable dedication, adaptability and invaluable contributions.
On Monday, October 28th 2024, Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients gathered colleagues from Singapore and Malaysia to celebrate three esteemed team members marking their 25-year anniversaries. Held at the Sunway Resort Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the event was attended by both the Malaysia and Singapore teams, current and former 25-year veterans, and even some special guests from our regional team—all joining to honour the commitment of Department Manager Steven Loh, Sales Manager Jason Go, and Sales Administrator Chadra Jobai.
Our Country Manager for Singapore and Malaysia, Alex Yap, led the celebration with a heartfelt speech recognising the contributions of our honorees, who represent the spirit and resilience that define Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients. As he highlighted, each of these team members has thrived through waves of change, continually adapting to keep our company moving forward.
Embracing Change and Tradition
The celebration was a perfect mix of tradition and festivity, featuring the iconic silver anniversary cake adorned with our three-mackerel logo. And, of course, the evening wasn’t complete without some karaoke and dancing, adding a joyful, relaxed atmosphere to the event. Our cherished “wall of fame” will be gaining some new additions, with portraits of our 25-year honorees—an inspiring reminder of the commitment that has built Jebsen & Jessen's legacy. This wall of dedication has long been a unique feature of the Jebsen & Jessen Group—a very inspiring sight to behold.
The Strength of Adaptability and Age Diversity
Our Group Chairman Heinrich Jessen, in his reflections, spoke of the importance of adaptability and age diversity in a thriving organisation. As he shared, longevity in service doesn’t equate to resistance to change but rather to resilience and growth. Chadra Jobai, based in Malaysia, mentioned that it’s the “continuous change” that kept her engaged over 25 years, while her fellow honorees, Jason and Steven, expressed similar sentiments, noting how change has allowed them to learn, grow, and remain passionate about their work.
