Shell Silk Alkane is a premium raw material derived from GTL technology, offering pharmaceutical-grade purity and formulation versatility. It is colourless, odourless, and free from silicone, mineral oil, and heavy metals. The ingredient performs multiple functions, including acting as a key emollient, skin conditioning agent, and solubiliser, ensuring compatibility across a wide range of beauty and personal care formulations. In application, Shell Silk Alkane delivers long-lasting hydration and skin protection, with a smooth, easy-to-spread, non-greasy texture. In hair care formulations, it helps reduce frizz and static electricity, enhancing both performance and sensory appeal.

Shell Silk Alkane meets international safety standards, including FDA 21 CFR 178.3620(a) and 172.878, as well as European, Japanese, and German Pharmacopeias.
