A Highlight of Food Ingredients Asia 2024
Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Indonesia left a strong mark at the recent Food Ingredients Asia (FiA) 2024 exhibition, one of the most significant gatherings in the food and beverage industry. Held from September 4-6 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), the event featured over 400 exhibitors and attracted more than 17,000 attendees from across the globe.
Showcasing Innovative Prototypes
The Jebsen & Jessen team introduced a range of innovative ingredient solutions, with a focus on natural, functional, and nutritious products. Visitors enjoyed free samples of exciting new prototypes, including:
- Baked High-Protein Chips – a healthy, protein-packed snack made with soy protein and modified food starch.
- Beauty Berry Sherbet Soft Serve – a sugar-free, fish collagen-enriched treat for health-conscious consumers.
- Nutritious White Malt Soft Serve – a high-energy snack infused with organic yerba mate and calcium.
- Tangy C Splash Booster – a vitamin-rich slushy bursting with tangerine and acerola cherry flavours.
Each of these products was designed to meet growing consumer demand for functional and clean-label foods.
Partnerships with Industry Leaders
The event also showcased Jebsen & Jessen’s strategic partnerships with Evonik, Duas Rodas, and NutraSweet. Evonik highlighted their innovative silica products for food production, while Duas Rodas shared new possibilities in flavours and essential oils. NutraSweet presented their zero-calorie sweeteners, ideal for health-conscious consumers. These collaborations allowed Jebsen & Jessen to offer a comprehensive range of solutions for the evolving food and beverage market.
A Flavourful Experience for Over 500 Visitors
More than 500 visitors were drawn to Jebsen & Jessen’s booth, captivated by the vibrant colours and inviting aromas of the prototypes. Live cooking demonstrations featuring Malty Waffle Premixed helped potential customers see firsthand how the ingredients could be incorporated into their own products. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with visitors praising the natural flavours and the innovative use of malt and functional ingredients.
