Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Indonesia's Pharma and Personal Care department recently held an insightful Dental Care Solution Seminar, attracting industry experts, professionals, and enthusiasts in an engaging hybrid format. This unique event, which included a virtual webinar and an in-person workshop, provided attendees with a comprehensive look at the latest trends, innovations, and advancements in oral care and hygiene.
Exploring Innovations in Dental Care
The seminar began with a series of informative presentations, featuring key speakers including Mr. Paiput Ratnapradipa, Technical Service Manager at Evonik, Dr. Krisada Kittigowittana from SNPS, as well as Orranit Yodjan and Nichakan Saengpetch, our Lab Manager and Specialist from Thailand. They shared valuable insights on Dental Abrasive and Thickening Silica for Toothpaste Applications, as well as innovative formulations using Evonik’s dental solutions.
Participants were particularly captivated by the presentation from our Regional Lab and Evonik, which highlighted a range of products designed to meet consumer needs, such as sustainability and effectiveness. These insights prompted lively discussions, offering participants an understanding of the latest trends and dynamic shifts in the dental care industry.
SNPS also provided an in-depth look into their expertise, focusing on herbal extract active ingredients in dental care products. This added an enriching layer to the seminar, offering participants a holistic view of the industry's latest innovations.
Hands-On Learning with Practical Applications
The seminar took an exciting turn in the afternoon as the event transitioned into a hands-on workshop. Attendees had the unique opportunity to formulate their own sample dental care products under the guidance of our lab experts. This interactive session allowed participants to apply what they had learned in the morning, experiment with different ingredients, and gain firsthand experience in the intricacies of dental product formulation.
Out of 25 invited participants, 22 attended, showing a strong interest in the event. To enhance their experience, refreshments, including snacks and a catered lunch, were provided throughout the day.
A Competitive and Rewarding Experience
To wrap up the seminar, a lively quiz tested participants’ knowledge of the day's content. Five lucky winners received Corkcicle tumblers as prizes, adding a fun and competitive element to the event. Attendees left with a deeper understanding of the dental care industry and an appreciation for the innovation and collaboration required in product development.
