Bringing Innovation Closer to Home at the Northern Food Ingredients & Nutrition Expo
For the first time, Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients’ Food Team participated in the Northern Food Ingredients & Nutrition Expo, held in Chiang Mai on 23–24 April. The event welcomed over 400 attendees, including food manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and academic experts from around Northern Thailand.

Instead of waiting for customers to come to us, we brought our innovations directly to them. Our team showcased six interactive product prototypes, from plant-based beverages to high-protein and functional snacks, giving visitors a real taste of how our ingredients perform in actual applications.
Prototype highlights included:
- The Guardians Jelly Stick
- Roast Chicken Flavoured Potato Wedge
- Coffee Pea Milk
- Baked High Protein Chips
- Plant-Based Wonton Soup
- Probiotic Instant Yogurt Shake
Two standout ingredients drew strong interest:

- InSea2® – a seaweed-based extract that helps regulate blood sugar and reduce the glycemic impact of meals.
- DOLCERRA 5671 – a cocoa powder replacer that replicates the taste, colour, and texture of cocoa, offering a cost-effective solution without compromising quality.
It was a great opportunity to build new connections in Northern Thailand, share the latest trends and innovations, and show what our solutions can really do in action.
