Balancing Profit & Planet: Smart Food Strategies for Sustainable Growth
On 16 September 2025, Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Thailand – Food Team welcomed more than 50 participants to the Grande Centre Point Lumphini for an exclusive seminar: “Balancing Profit & Planet – Smart Food Strategies for Sustainable Growth.”

The theme “Balancing Profit & Planet” was at the heart of the seminar, addressing one of the biggest challenges in today’s food industry: how to deliver products that are both commercially viable and environmentally responsible.

In today’s dynamic food market, technology and cost efficiency go hand in hand. This message was reinforced through expert sessions by ABFT, ADM, EPAX, Ingredion, Innovactive, and Orkla, who showed how smart ingredient solutions can improve product performance while advancing sustainability goals. Each session highlighted practical ways the industry can align profitability with environmental responsibility — making the theme a tangible part of the discussions.







A highlight of the day was the 10 food prototypes created by our Regional Food Lab team, served during the breaks. These included bakery, beverage, dairy, and savoury concepts that demonstrated how ingredient innovation translates into real-world applications customers can taste. Designed with efficiency and sustainability in mind, the prototypes embodied the event’s theme by combining strong nutritional value, consumer appeal, and resource-conscious formulation.

Beyond the stage, supplier partners hosted table-top showcases, providing opportunities for one-on-one discussions and hands-on exploration of our cutting-edge ingredient solutions. Interactive breakout sessions, giveaways, and a lively lucky draw added to the engagement and energy of the day.






Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with the seminar receiving a 94% satisfaction score. Attendees appreciated the relevance of the content, the clarity of presentations, and the chance to connect directly with experts and suppliers.
