A Meaningful ESG Journey at SOS Children’s Village
On 13 December, colleagues from Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Vietnam came together for a meaningful ESG Day at SOS Children’s Village, Vĩnh Long.

This ESG Day at SOS Village was a day dedicated to giving back, connecting with the community, and contributing to a more sustainable future.
Giving Back to the Community
As part of the visit, the team donated essential items to support daily life at the village, including milk, shampoo, bakery items, toys, and comic books. Beyond the donations, colleagues spent time engaging directly with the children by playing games, sharing laughter, and creating moments of genuine connection.

The visit also included an open and heartfelt exchange between the Ingredients team and the SOS Village management, where both sides shared stories, reflections, and appreciation. These conversations helped deepen mutual understanding and reinforced the importance of long-term community support.

Planting for the Future
Sustainability was also at the heart of the day. Each participant planted one tree within the SOS Village grounds, with a total of 22 trees donated and planted. This simple but symbolic act reflected our shared commitment to environmental responsibility and leaving a positive footprint for future generations.

To mark this contribution, Jebsen & Jessen (Vietnam) received a certificate acknowledging our participation in the tree-planting activity at SOS Children’s Village, Vĩnh Long.

A Day That Left an Impact
Participants described the experience as joyful, emotionally meaningful, and deeply motivating. More than just an activity, the ESG Day served as a reminder that small, collective actions, whether through charity, time spent together, or planting trees, can make a real difference.

As we look ahead, this ESG Day stands as a source of inspiration for future initiatives. We hope it encourages even more colleagues to take part in upcoming ESG activities and continue contributing to positive change within our communities.
