Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Indonesia celebrates their service awards with a throwback 80s celebration

On the 25th of July 2022, we celebrated the 25-year anniversaries of two Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Indonesia staff at the Dapoer Oemoem restaurant in Jakarta.
In attendance for this very special occasion were Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients’ CEO Lim Siew Tin, our Group’s Chief Human Resource Officer Olivia Chua, Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Indonesia’s President Director Rudy Rusli, all of Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Indonesia staff, as well as other distinguished guests and family members.

Celebrating their 25-year anniversaries were Gloria Setiadi (Purchasing Executive) and Nuryanto N (Office Helper) who are both stationed at our Surabaya office.

Gloria has been with Jebsen & Jessen since July 1st 1997 and is a proud and happy member of the JJ family. When asked to share some tips for staying with the company for so long, Gloria said “I love my job!” and she added jokingly “just come and work in Surabaya!”

Nuryanto has also been with Jebsen & Jessen since July 1st 1997, joining the company on the same day as Gloria 25 years ago. When asked to share tips for his longevity with the company he said that he is fortunate to have a team who cares – that’s what has kept him with the company for all these years!

Besides our two 25-year awardees, we also honoured those colleagues that have recently completed their 5 and 10-year service anniversaries.
The combined years of service of all the awardees add up to an impressive 125 years. To honour the 15 staff, Gloria ordered boxes of local cake (bika ambon) that equalled 125 cm in length when arranged, along with a banner reading “Celebrating our 125 years of Long Service Together” and 15 candle-like lights.
